Little Hero Sports Ltd - Privacy Policy.

At Little Hero Sports Ltd, we want you to know that you are in control of any personal data that we may collect from you. Security and accuracy of the data you share with us is a priority, and we take the responsibility very seriously. We want to assure you that your data is safe and secure with us, and we’d like to illustrate exactly how and why we use it to better service your needs.

What data do we collect?

To accurately serve your needs we’ll need to collect various pieces of personal information from you. In order to process transactions these may include financial details at the time of application, please note no financial details will be stored within our systems – here’s what you can expect to be asked for: 

• Your main contact details: name, address, phone numbers, email address.
• Details required for you to make payments when necessary: your bank details.
• Details of an emergency contact should we need to reach someone in your absence.
• And of course details of any player wishing to enroll: Name, age, date of birth, and medical conditions that may affect participation, etc.

The above details could be collected in a variety of secure ways, but in the majority of cases will be via phone or through one of our secure web portals. If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence along with details of your visits to our site including, but not limited to, web server statistics, traffic data, location data and details of the web pages and resources that you access. Should we engage you in a marketing context we may also collect the data of the following context: 

• Proficiency of emails that you may receive from us i.e. did you open the correspondence; did you click on any links within.
• Your feedback and contributions to voluntary customer surveys and questionnaires.

How and why we use personal data

We have a few reasons to use and store your personal data: We require your personal details in order to provide a tailored sports experience for you and your family. We’d also like to keep you informed of upcoming offers and pertinent information that may apply to your family’s healthy lifestyle. Your feedback and opinions will also assist us in creation of future initiatives and products that may be of interest to you. On occasion we may invite you to partake in customer surveys and questionnaires. 

All in all, we need to use your personal data to better refine our available services to you, and to keep you up to speed with new initiatives and products (we’d hate for you to miss out!). 

Sharing personal data with other service providers 

We don’t intend to share your information with any other affiliate business, this may however occur in the event of an emergency where by we may be require to provide previous health history to healthcare workers. Aside from this, our policy does not involve the sharing of data in any way.

If a future requirement for sharing information should arise it will be for justifiable reasons and we will gain your consent prior to releasing any of your information. 

How we protect personal data

We have computer safeguards such as firewalls and data encryption to protect your information. We also operate from a secure office environment protected by alarms. The transmission of any personal data is done so in an encrypted manner using a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL). Though we adhere to as many technical and organisational measures possible to safeguard your personal data, we unfortunately cannot guarantee the security of any personal data that you transfer over the internet to us.

We will put in place appropriate protection to make sure your personal data remains adequately protected and is treated in line with this policy. 

Marketing and market research 

This section explains the choices you have when it comes to receiving marketing communications and taking part in market research. You have the choice to opt-in to any marketing communication that may be relevant to your situation. When you register your interest in our services we’ll ask if you would like to be a part of our future marketing, if you agree at the time you will be added to our regular distribution list - please note you can change your marketing preferences anytime by emailing us a request: littleherosports@gmail.com We’re also constantly seeking refinement within our services and products; therefore, we may choose to contact you for market research purposes. If you are under 16 

For so long as you are under 16 we will not send you any marketing communications, or share your details with any other party. However, if you have signed up to receive a product or service, we may contact you about this. 

Ages 13-15 

If you are aged 13-15, you must first tell your parent or legal guardian that you wish to register on our digital platforms and get their consent. You must make sure that your parent or legal guardian knows and agrees each time before you: 

• email us, or ask us to email anything to you; • send any information to us; • enter any competition or game that requires information about you or offers a prize; • purchase an official membership; or • offer or agree to buy anything online. 

If you are the parent or legal guardian of a user of our digital platforms who is aged 13 to 15 we do not seek your direct consent to their registration, but we expect them to inform you and get your agreement in advance before they register and before each time they do any of the activities listed above.

Aged under 13 

If you are under 13 and wish to register, you must truthfully tell us your name, email address, country and date of birth. Our system will then ask you for the name and email address of your parent or legal guardian. We will send them an email so they are aware of your request and will ask them for their consent and to confirm they have authority to give that consent. We need their consent or refusal within 7 days, or else we will assume consent is not granted. Their consent can be withdrawn at any stage. 

Even if your parent or legal guardian gives their consent to your registration, if you are under 13 we still expect you to tell them and get their agreement in advance each time before you: • email us, or ask us to email anything to you; • send any information to us; • enter any competition or game that requires information about you or offers a prize; • purchase an official membership; or • offer or agree to buy anything online. 

Use of images and video.

We are extremely proud of what we do here at Little Hero Sports. Most importantly, we are extremely proud of our members, and what they bring to such a vibrant and inclusive organisation. 

We use images and video of our customers and activities extensively to promote our activities and achievements, on our official website and social media channels. 

We will ensure we have gained your permission for use of images within which you (or your dependent) may appear across all L.H.S. channels. Should you wish for any images to be removed at any time, or should you change your position on use of images, please contact us by email at littleherosports@gmail.com and we will immediately comply with your request.

This Privacy Policy covers the Little Hero Sports official website and all L.H.S. official social media channels.

Your rights 

Under the General Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to see the personal data we hold about you. This is called a Subject Access Request. If you would like a copy of the personal data we hold about you, please email us: Entitle your email Subject Access Request and send to:  littleherosports@gmail.com . The law allows us to charge an administration fee of £10. If you write to us by post, please enclose a cheque or postal order for £10 made payable to "Little Hero Sports Ltd.” We want to make sure that the personal data we hold about you is accurate and up to date. If any of the details are incorrect, please let us know and we will amend them. You are also freely able to exercise your “Right to be forgotten”, requesting this service will result in the removal of all correspondence and data points that we hold on you as a company, including the request itself.
